Does It live up to the hype?
From the moment I swiped this on, I knew it was going to be a staple. The formula is that perfect balance between creamy and structured—it glides on effortlessly but doesn’t slide around. It’s not your sharp, ultra-defined lip pencil, but that’s the whole point. The soft-focus, blurred lip look is very in, and this makes it incredibly easy to achieve.
Plus, the shade range is surprisingly well thought-out. Usually, “nude” lip liners pull way too orange on me, but Rhode nailed the undertones here. Lunge, a rosy beige, is chef’s kiss for my everyday lip. It enhances my natural lip color without looking too obvious—like my lips, but way better.
